-Casual wear, open floor design of home made socializing easier

            -Expand the board of S2

            “The ways we’ve been doing things hasn’t worked.”

            -Leads will talk about their program

-Break into smaller pieces for potential board members to introduce themselves and gather more information

            -Program leads will then give reflections

            -Call to Action the United Nations “Our Common Future” in 1991

            -Healthy communities, economies, communities and ecosystems

            -Earth Summit, Regional sustainability

            -14 Programs after two years of intense market research

            -Three main program areas

                        -Emerging people, projects, and ideas

-Joe Brewer Cognitive Works

            -Seattle filled with amazing people

            -The world is falling apart because of collapsed, outdated systems

            -We are facing planetary limits for first time ever

            -Opportunity to take action and be different

            -What does it mean to be human?

                        -Are we simply “human calculators?”

                        -Consumerism and cost trade analysis

                        -Humans are not just self interested or self motivated

                        -Desire to be creative, play and explore

            -What does it mean to be playful?

            -Humans are inherently social

                        -Interconnected web, social ecosystem, relationships define us
