show the six surveys planned: Asset Route 1 & Asset Route 2 & Asset Route 3 represent the positive
"asset" condition routes and Deficit Route 1 & Deficit Route 2 & Deficit Route 3 represent the
"deficit" condition routes. Survey volunteers included residents of

Community members collected deficits & concerns (what they didn't like and
what they thought were problems) along the areas of the main business district

Asset Findings:
Table 1:

Table 1 above lists the most
frequently collected positive conditions (assets) organized by
feature. For example, most of the asset or opportunity incidents were
found in the Tree category with 19 incidents collected of healthy trees
or trees which provide nice canopy. The second most collected category
were Planting Strips conditions with 15 incidents collected. Community
members also discovered that the Crosswalks/Intersections in the neighborhood
were clearly marked and included pedestrian signals. Currently, community
members have collected 139 assets in
Deficit
Findings:

Table 2 above lists the most
frequently collected negative conditions (deficits) organized by
feature. 35 sidewalk conditions were found. A majority of
the sidewalk conditions indicated uneven pavement and litter on the sidewalk.
Planting Strips were the second most frequently collected feature, 14 conditions were found in this
category; the concerns were mostly litter and weeds. Tree Pits were the third
collected feature, 13 incidents of
the roots heaving and causing uneven pavers. In total, there were 131 deficits or
concerns collected by community members in the
